Introducing Linda & Alle

I have been working for Scorby Travel and Cruise for the past eight years. Scorby Travel and Cruise has an excellent reputation for both independent, luxury, multi-generational and group travel. Nancy Scorby, has over 35 years of experience in the travel business. Whether it is planning friend and family trips, honeymoon or destination weddings, spring break trips or safaris, we have great expertise and great vendors in travel.

Prior to working for Scorby Travel and Cruise, I was a Vice President and Commercial Banker for Northern Trust Bank in Chicago for 12 years. I am a native Chicagoan and have resided in St. Charles, Illinois for the past 30 years. I have one daughter who is 26 years old.

Travel has become such an extension of my life as an empty nester. It has brought me to places that demonstrate the remarkable distinctions and contrasts within our world population, and yet, at the same time, the great values and experiences that we all share as well. I am continuously amazed at the kindness and generosity that has been displayed to me by complete strangers, who, so many times do not even share a common language.

Each trip we plan for you is personal, no traveler should or ever will have the exact same experience. We design a very individualized itinerary that reflects our client’s desires and travel preferences; thereby creating customized travel plans rather than “cookie-cutter” packages. Speak with our clients and allow them to tell you of some of the most amazing travel experiences they’ve had with Scorby Travel in conjunction with our partnership with Signature Travel Network and their incredible travel partners. We look forward to planning your next journey!

Just returned from an extensive trip in September (my third) to India and Dubai with Sacred Dot Tours. October took me to Romania, Prague and Istanbul. Transylvania is gorgeous in Autumn! Would love to tell you more about these incredible destinations and why both Africa and India are both destinations so close to my heart.

TRAVEL: As Much as You Can, As Far as You Can, As Long as You Can. Life’s not meant to be lived in one place!

HEY! It's your favorite traveling mother-daughter duo!⠀ ⠀ Just in case you're new here, this is @lindapawelski everyone, she's my bada$$ mom who I travel the world with. We are both travel advisors for @scorbytravel and between the two of us, we've been to more than 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ countries and every state in the US except Alaska (gotta fix that…😢).⠀ ⠀ For today’s #Traveltiptuesday we’re sharing our # 1 travel tips!⠀ ⠀ Linda's #1 Travel Trip: DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE DESTINATION BEFORE YOU TRAVEL. ⠀ ⠀ Watch a documentary, google articles from reputable travel publications (we like @lonelyplanet and @telegraphtravel ), and seek out a travel blogger you trust (hey I think I know one of those…but we also love @theblondeabroad and @davidsbeenhere )⠀ ⠀ Linda made me put this in here "Your local library is a great resource if you want to check out a book on the destination without having to purchase it"⠀ ⠀ You can also find slightly used travel guides on @amazon for under $5.⠀ ⠀ Your travel experience will be 10x more meaningful if you've done your research!⠀ ⠀ My #1 Travel Tip: FIND ONE WAY MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON THE DESTINATION YOU'RE VISITING.⠀ ⠀ Admittedly I haven't always done this but in 2020 I'm making a conscious effort to make an impact on each country I visit. And I hope I can inspire you to do the same.⠀ ⠀ For example, finding a local charity to donate to or a service project you can help move forward. Maybe it's offsetting your carbon emissions for the flights you take. Or selecting locally owned and operated hotels to stay at.⠀ ⠀ I think we all have to think globally when we travel and remember that we're guests in someone else's home. We should try to leave it better than we found it.⠀ ⠀ There's more where that came from! We're bringing back our IGTV series #ListenLinda where we answer your most burning travel questions. But in order to do that we need to know what you WANT to know. So… WHAT DO YOU WANT TO KNOW?!⠀ ⠀ Leave your travel questions in the comments below and we'll answer them in the series!⠀ ⠀ xx Allecat & LINDA⠀ 📸: @alialistone 📍: North Ave Pier 🧥: @showmeyourmumu x @renttherunway #galsabroad #alleabroad
